"Light upon light. Allah guideth unto His light whom He will. And Allah speaketh to mankind in allegories, for Allah is Knower of all things." — Holy Qur'an 24:35
Holy Quran Verses from Pickthall's Translation
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
| 101.001 | The Calamity! |
| 101.002 | What is the Calamity? |
| 101.003 | Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! |
| 101.004 | A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths |
| 101.005 | And the mountains will become as carded wool. |
| 101.006 | Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), |
| 101.007 | He will live a pleasant life. |
| 101.008 | But as for him whose scales are light, |
| 101.009 | A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, |
| 101.010 | Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - |
| 101.011 | Raging Fire. |
Let us pray (Sura 20, Ayat 114) 'Ya Rabbi Zidni Ilma!' ('O Lord! Increase me in knowledge.') and seek spiritual help (ta'yid) to understand our great faith.
