| Yusufali: | Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant? |
| Pickthall: | Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant? |
| 105.002 | |
| Yusufali: | Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray? |
| Pickthall: | Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, |
| 105.003 | |
| Yusufali: | And He sent against them Flights of Birds, |
| Pickthall: | And send against them swarms of flying creatures, |
| 105.004 | |
| Yusufali: | Striking them with stones of baked clay. |

| Yusufali: | Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. |

Let us pray (Sura 20, Ayat 114) 'Ya Rabbi Zidni Ilma!' ('O Lord! Increase me in knowledge.') and seek spiritual help (ta'yid) to understand our great faith.
